My Reading List

One of the most valuable tools in my sobriety toolbox is having an open mind. An open mind to learn new things about addiction, alcoholism, and spirituality. The more I know, the more armed I am against that little voice in my head. You know the one. The voice that says “Hey, you’re not an alcoholic. You don’t need god or a Higher Power. Go ahead and drink”. That voice can be convincing sometimes. But, the more I know, the more tools I have under my belt, the better prepared I am to tell that voice to fuck off.

Listed below is a list of books I have read, and recommend to you. I will also include online pages of blogs/ people I follow on Facebook. I will update this list periodically as I plow through more books, or find new information. Happy reading friends!
